The Naked Potter : Workshops

We are located in Vermont's Mad River Valley, home to Sugarbush & Mad River Glen, a host of artists, farm markets, great restaurants, clean, clear swimming holes, trails, hiking, biking and just plain relaxing. Bring your non-potter spouse/partner up for a getaway.
Pottery Classes

Fee: $200 plus materials
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Includes: Three hours each week of hands on instruction. Learn to make a pot from a ball of clay to a finished product. Make functional stoneware pottery as well as decorative raku ware.

Raku Firing: Tips and Techniques for Great Results
When: September 12 &13, 2009
Fee: $200
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Includes: Glazes, firings and lunch. This workshop will go over the basics of traditional glazing, slip resist, horsehair & ferric chloride firings as well as kiln firing, surface preparation & terra sig application. Discounted lodging is available at our bed and breakfast, the Wilder Farm Inn.
